Background History.

Al-Shifaa Muslim Youth Initiative is a Community-Based Organization, non-profit and non-governmental initiated in 2014 to help spearhead Muslim youth development initiatives and enable disadvantaged community groups to participate in integrated activities to achieve quality livelihood and be self-dependent. Al-Shifaa Muslim Youth Initiative delivers its activities through the power and spirit of volunteerism approach to build sustainable communities/ intercultural exchange and thriving and most importantly striving to make a positive impact on the lives of struggling young Muslims by providing accredited mentor training to volunteers who it then takes to the community centers to connect one-on-one with these youngsters. From (founding year) involving (number of youths), (number of mentors) and managed by Founder Mr. Mwalimu Mwaguzo. We also promote youth employment and information exchange among Muslim youth by engaging them in (voluntary work camps, and short and long-term volunteering), youth mobility, social inclusion, sports, and physical activities, community development, promotion of peace among our diverse communities, and understanding unity and purpose..

Al-Shifaa Muslim Youth Initiative harness and develop the power of young people, by effectively involving them in the direct implementation of the core beliefs of Islam and developing their skills, enabling them to become self-reliant and sustainable people in community service and development. We further engage them in a constructive manner enabling them to initiate and build their ideas and develop responsible character so that they may offer productive service to society.
